Logos
I also need a png of your logo. Please email your logo to kirk@hhgradio.com.
Commercials
And lastly – there’s a creative you need to make. It isn’t difficult. Here is a sample 30 second commercial you should create your version once your show schedule is set.
“Hey, Alberta! It’s Captain Kirk here, and I’ve got one question for you—are you ready for some real talk?!”
“Join me every Tuesday at 7 PM for Don’t Poke the Bear! We’re diving into the hottest topics, the wildest debates, and the stories that make you think twice!”
“No fluff. No filters. Just straight-up conversation you won’t hear anywhere else. So tune in, or risk poking the bear!” Tuesday nights at 7pm. Only on hhgradio.com.
Here are some options on what to do with this once you have created a script.
#1. Just record it as usual on your webinar software zoom or skype etc and send it it. (Best audio quality)
#2. Call 1-866-907-0847 extension 1. This is a voicemail. Simply call , get to the recording, give it a second, and then record your advertisement. When you are done, give it a second and hang up. All done. I’ll take care of the rest. (Useable but limited mono recording)
Recordings
Each show is 4 twelve minute recordings. 48 minutes. I’m suggesting you use a zoom or skype video conference software – free for those of you non tech folks. Easy to use, records and can save to mp4 or be converted with free online software, downloads. Don’t be to exact for now. 12 minutes or 11:47 or 12:19 is not a big issue, just get as close to the 12 minute mark as possible.
As for labeling your recording-
Simply go to where your file is, right click, and when the window opens scroll to the bottom to properties.

This should be what you see now.

There are a number of fields. Simply click under the value column as shown above, and add to the labelling. I would do labels for Title of Show, Subtitle (topic), tags (your group name, #ab, #topic), comments (basic show content information). Once completed, notice the apply button, if it is bold make sure you click to save changes.
Uploading
One day I’ll have a single spot for you to upload all files into your own storage box, but for now… Transferring your files can be as basic as google drive or drop box. Free. Just make sure you give kirk@hhgradio.com permission when you send the link.
Now comes the deadlines – Yes I want all 12 episodes yesterday. But the real deadline for your 12 episodes is close of business 4pm, Tuesday March 18, 2025. This will allow me to get all the shows scheduled, promotion material created and back out to you for sharing, and deal with any issues before our scheduled launch. (I already expect to have to delay the expectation for all 12. If you have an issue, advance notice is required.)
Term of Broadcasting
I want to start our schedule Monday March 24th. This should take us to the week of June 16. And we can re-evaluate the effectiveness just before the commitment ends.
Supports
The true benefit to each of you is the cross promotion of all the shows. While you send out the promotional flyer I send you, it will feature your show and the show of those around your time schedule. Using your email lists and social media you should be prepared to send out listening or viewing announcemnts each week. I suggest Going out Friday for the upcoming week. This is easy to schedule.
Obviously I’ll have the full schedule on the website. But we should acknowledge the real effort my focus is on is to provide true, fact based messaging. Someone has to speak the truth. And from what I gather, you are the voices to do so. But I really want to make sure that when you make a statement, we have evidence to show listeners/viewers. If you have evidence that supports your show, hhgradio.com will provide you with a place to put your pdf’s and other evidence links.
Issues
Now I’m no computer geek regardless of what you think. But I do hate for things to not go as intended. Some of you may be overwhelmed by doing these recordings in a timely fashion. Now, I really want you, your voice, your presentation – I think that will get you your best bang for the buck. However, this process can be a bit overwhelming. Don’t let it get that far. if the issue is using the zoom or skype platforms, schedule a time with me if you can’t find another expert. I’ll help you get under way. If your issue is formatting. Before you ever start : Each Show: Why the topic is important, Who is your guest, Qualifications, Topic, Points for listeners to take away, Guest contact—websites, email etc., Thank guest, Closing conclusion. Cover those few items and your weekly show will be successful.
Having said – record your shows, some of you have acknowledged that time and specifically your time is not conducive to making the recordings. I can’t with the video side specifically but the audio – you might look at this – https://pdf2audioai.com/#features or one of the many text to voice ai that are out there. You doing the recording yourself obviously gives you more control. But if the issue is getting good content without a ton of work, a few pdf’s and this will actually be a great help. Just make sure you save and send your files as mp3. Now what that does for video, we would have to discuss but know that there are answers.
